Statement of Nomination

Pru Montin

I am a media composer with a passion for that journey of discovery composers go on in finding their unique voice/ niche within our ever changing industry. Before Covid – I was working in LA doing everything from assisting composers, designing instruments, running a Production Music Library and composing for screen projects.

Although my plan has not been to remain in Australia, I’ve recently enjoyed being an active member of the AGSC Events and Gender Equity Committees and feel that I can contribute even more as a strong advocate for diversity, equity and most importantly sustainability of all of our members. My biggest hope for the AGSC and what I hope to focus on it to ensure that our International Members feel and maintain connected to our incredibly supportive community whilst they work from different corners of the globe.
