Amanda Brown is a screen composer, musician and song writer. She has been creating music for the screen since graduating from AFTRS in 2000 and has been a working musician since the age of 17. Her screen work includes series Deadloch and RFDS and feature films Babyteeth and Brazen Hussies.
Amanda has 9 years experience as a writer director on the APRA board and is currently the sole writer director on the AMCOS board. She is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and was a founding member of the AGSC Gender Equity committee.

Cornel Wilczek is an award-winning Australian composer whose work spans film, television, and international feature releases. With recent global box-office success and collaborations with major studios such as A24, Neon, Netflix, HBO and Paramount, he brings a deep understanding of where Australian screen music sits within the global industry.
As one of Australia’s most active screen composers, Cornel is passionate about strengthening professional and mental-health support for working composers, improving awareness around sustainable budgets and schedules, and fostering a more connected creative community. He hopes to bring his experience and perspective from both the Australian and international landscapes to help shape a stronger, fairer future for all members of the AGSC.

I am HsinMin Chou, an award-winning composer, pianist, and AI music researcher, currently based in Sydney. As the Founder and CEO of HSINMIN GLOBAL MUSIC PRODUCTION CORPORATION, I have been leading initiatives at the intersection of music, film, and cutting-edge technology. My work spans internationally—from academic research in AI-driven film scoring to professional recognition as a finalist at the InterContinental Music Awards and an invited judge for the 2025 APRA AMCOS Screen Music Awards.
I am pursuing a PhD in AI Music Research (dual pathway between NTHU Taiwan and UTS Sydney) and am developing EchoFilm AI, a pioneering SaaS platform for automatic cinematic scoring. Alongside, I created the FilmScore12 dataset, the first of its kind for multimodal film-music generation, which has significant implications for both research and industry.
I am deeply committed to the growth of the Australian screen composition community, bringing a strong blend of artistic excellence, academic rigor, and entrepreneurial vision. I believe my background in global collaboration, technological innovation, and music industry leadership can contribute fresh perspectives to AGSC’s mission of supporting and advocating for screen composers. My goal as a board director is to strengthen opportunities for members in research, industry partnerships, international exposure, and to ensure that Australian screen music continues to thrive in an evolving creative and technological landscape.
